When to Choose Plastic Pallets

Plastic pallets make sense when hygiene, durability or regulatory compliance is the priority. They are the standard in pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, clean rooms and any environment where timber splinters, moisture absorption or insect harbourage are unacceptable risks.

Rackable vs Nestable Plastic Pallets

Rackable pallets are structurally reinforced and can be placed on racking spans — they work the same way as timber pallets. Nestable pallets have a lighter open-grid design that allows them to stack into each other when empty, saving significant storage space. Nestable pallets are not suitable for racking.

Export Use

Plastic pallets are exempt from ISPM 15 heat treatment requirements because they pose no biosecurity risk. This makes them efficient for international shipping — no HT marking required, no treatment costs.
